By accessing or using the BitBoss Bot (“the Bot”) within any Discord server, you acknowledge and agree to the following legally binding terms:
1. Nature of the Service and Custody
BitBoss Bot operates an off-chain ledger. When you deposit cryptocurrency into the Bot, you are sending assets to a collective "hot wallet" managed by the Bot operator(s).
- Custodial Agreement: You acknowledge that you do not hold the private keys to the underlying assets while they are held within the Bot’s ecosystem.
- Internal Ledger: Your balance is a digital representation of your claim to those assets on our internal database, not a direct blockchain wallet.
- Forfeiture of Control: By depositing, you forfeit direct control of those funds to the Bot’s management system.
2. Discord Account Security
Your BitBoss account is tied exclusively to your Discord User ID.
- Access: If your Discord account is compromised, banned, or deleted, the Bot operator(s) cannot guarantee the recovery of your funds.
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for securing your Discord account (e.g., enabling Two-Factor Authentication). We are not responsible for unauthorized transactions resulting from a breach of your Discord account.
3. Risk of Loss and No Liability
All use of the Bot is entirely at your own risk. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible and highly volatile. Under no circumstances shall the Bot operator(s), developers, or affiliates be held liable for any loss of digital assets, including losses caused by:
- Software bugs, database errors, or technical glitches.
- Hacks, exploits, or malicious activity by third parties.
- Network congestion or failures of the underlying blockchain.
- Incorrect wallet addresses or user error.
- Service termination or permanent outages.
4. Fees and Withdrawals
- Service Fees: BitBoss Bot may charge fees for deposits, withdrawals, swaps, tips, or any other Bot activity or feature. These fees are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
- Withdrawal Limits: To ensure liquidity and security, we reserve the right to impose daily withdrawal limits or delay withdrawals for manual security audits.
- Gas Fees: You are responsible for all external network "gas" fees associated with depositing or withdrawing assets.
5. Prohibited Conduct and Fraud
Any attempt to exploit, manipulate, or "stress test" the Bot’s ledger is strictly prohibited.
- Bug Reporting: If you discover a bug that allows for "double spending" or balance manipulation, you agree to report it immediately.
- Penalties: Exploiting such bugs for personal gain will result in a permanent ban and the total forfeiture of any balance held by the Bot.
6. Age and Eligibility
By using this Bot, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and are not a resident of a jurisdiction where the use of cryptocurrency custodial services is prohibited by law.
7. No Financial Advice
Nothing provided by the Bot, its commands, or its output constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions and tax reporting obligations.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located within that jurisdiction.
9. Agreement to Terms
By using any command, depositing funds, or participating in any Bot activity (example: swaps, tips, rains, or rewards), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in their entirety.
